- Download and Install Minecraft for Mac.
- Download and Install the Technic Launcher for Mac.
- Download the CREDC World of Power 'WoP_15_07_24.zip' folder. Click the .zip folder to unzip the folder, which will now be located in your downloads folder. You can move this to your desktop if that is easier.
- Open the Technic Launcher and sign in using your Minecraft Mojang account.
- In the top left corner of the launcher, copy and paste the following link into the search bar: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/tcipg-world-of-power-modpack . The TCIPG World of Power Modpack should pop up. Click 'Install' in the lower right corner.
Download Minecraft: Education Edition Learn to Code Beta. General information on getting started with Minecraft: Education Edition on Mac is available here. Join the TestFlight beta program by tapping this link on your iPad. Apple will notify you when a new version of Minecraft: Education Edition is available for testing. Minecraft: Education Edition is a powerful tool for remote learning and can be played on Windows, Mac, and iPad. Use your school email address to check your eligibility and get started. The Minecraft Remote Learning Toolkit includes 100+ lessons and activities. Model cells, build monuments and write.
- Once installed, go your finder window. In the top bar, select 'Go' then 'Go to Folder...'f
- Type in '~/Library/Application Support/technic'
- In the technic folder, click on the 'modpacks' folder.
- The 'tcipg-world-of-power-modpack' folder should now be in there. Open up this folder.
- Open up the 'saves' folder.
- Drag and drop the 'WoP_15.07.24' folder into your saves folder.
- Go back to the Technic Launcher and click 'Play' in the lower right hand corner of the TCIPG World of Power Modpack page.
- Begin playing!
Schools around the country and the world are closing to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which means many students and teachers are using online tools for education. Microsoft is helping teachers and students stay connected by offering Minecraft: Education Edition for free to all educators through June 30.
In order to qualify, teachers will need to have a valid Office 365 Education account, and fill out this form. You’ll also need to make sure your school is eligible. If you receive access, you can download Minecraft: Education Edition for Windows, Mac or iOS (iPad). If you don’t have a valid account, or just want to check it out, you can still download the game and try a free demo lesson.
Microsoft has also put together a remote learning toolkit that includes 50 lessons, activities, and projects that educators can use with Minecraft: Education Edition. A new category of educational Minecraft worlds are also available in the Minecraft Marketplace. All of these worlds are free to download through June 30.
